Another great video! I feel that practicing in this way is absolutely essential. Throw on a CD like yours that has an underlying basic progression, and then solo. Over the summer I did this fairly regularly and it helped a lot.

Honestly, bending seemed impossible to me at first, but then I started to bend a little bit. After lots of practice, bending becomes something with loads of control. Patience is ultra important.First you need to be hitting clean single notes. If you move your tong from the front of your mouth to the back, it should create a different vibration at a lower frequency and 'bend' the note down a quarter, half, full, or even one and a half step depending on the hole you draw on.
