Welcome To Series 3 Lesson 1C First Part. In this installment, we will explore the idea of moving one pair of strings, Open D strings 2 and 1, to another location in Open G, strings 4 and 3. Both of these pairs of strings, have the same interval relationship of 5 over 1. The keys will sound different, but because they share the same string relationship, the musical ideas can be easily transfered. In addition, due to the different placement of the strings on the fingerboard, variations can be made using the adjacent strings.Learn to Play Bottleneck Slide Blues Guitar Series 1 and 2 Video CDsGood & Evil Music CD"Buy It Now" AuctionGo to Ebay: Search: Keni LeeIf there is no active auction please contact me.

I'm in Open G tuning DGDgbd low to high. Thank you for your question. Enjoy.

Thank you. Yes, that is the idea. Really explore the major scale and the pentatonic. Look at the relationship. There is really no note that can't be used somewhere. Keep it simple, then it becomes complex all by itself. Enjoy.

Just what ive been thinking about lately, filling in those pentatonic scales. After watching Rory Gallaghers Too Much Alcohol i just knew there was more notes in there somewhere. A 1 lesson KeniLee.

Thank you. Excellent. I know you will enjoy it. As you know from the video, I have a Republic Tricone too, and these guitars scream. Nothing like a new guitar. Enjoy.

Hi KeniLee. Another excellent video. Keep up the good work. Got to meet Frank @ Republic Guitars today and walked out with a Tricone. Can't wait to fire it up!
